MEMBERSHIP HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER Membership of the Study Circle is open to all those with collecting interests in the territories formerly defined as the Belgian Congo – typically the Indépendant State, Ruanda-Urundi, République du Congo, etc. The interests of individual members range from specialists in particular fields to those with more modest and general collections. The Circle has a worldwide membership, particularly strong in the U.K., Belgium and the U.S.A. The General Secretary is based in Belgium, supported for administrative purposes with additional regional secretariats in U.K. and the U.S.A. Should you wish to become a member, application in the first instance should be by letter outlining your particular interests and whether this is as a hobby or a commercial/professional activity.
